Spitbank fort is situated about 1 mile off of Southsea Sea Front.

One of 3 forts build in the Solent it has become one of the best places to visit in the city.

The BBC once used one of the forts to film 'Dr Who and the Darleks' as they are built in concrete and have some OLD Dungeons.

Each fort is built on what can only be described as a pyramid style concrete base. This can prove to be the most destructive part of the forts as boats that get too close don't usually see the extra layers beneath them and can easily strike them and sink.

Booking's taken for private parties/functions. Please remember not to mix drinking with the Sea!
