The Old Naval Garrison Church.

As many of you may have noticed, this church does not have a roof. Bombed during the 2nd world war it was distroyed by fire and never re-built. The church is part of the full history of Portsmouth. In front of the Church is the resting place of Admeral Napier.

We could go in to more detail here but instead advise you to visit and find out it's full history yourself.

Taken from the Ramparts on the edge of Southsea seafront. The picture above shows the old Garrison church and also the Cathedral Tower (Left), behind is a crane for the work being carried out at the Gunwharf site.
